The Stakes for America – Higher Than Ever

The upcoming presidential election on November 8th represents the most consequential election in American history, and for the preservation of liberty in this world. Why is this election so important? Because it will determine whether this nation will preserve and protect the individual rights and freedoms guaranteed to each citizen by the Constitution’s Bill of Rights; that is, the freedom to exercise religion; freedom of speech; freedom of the press; freedom of assembly; and the right to petition the government for redress, among other rights specified in the first 10 amendments to the US Constitution.

Today, these rights are in jeopardy, in view of elitists’ corporate business, banking, and investment interests, and national political interests, who seek to enfold America into a worldwide economic, and political governing framework, in order to position themselves to generate trillions of dollars in corporate and investment profits, by manufacturing and selling goods and services worldwide, through the use cheap labor around the world, and eventually replacing the labor force in the United States, with a cheap labor force imported from foreign countries.

In order for US big business, corporate banks and investment companies, and the political establishment to accomplish their trillion dollar profit and investment aims, a worldwide governing framework must be established, which ultimately determines and controls economic, immigration, and regulatory policy for individual nations; including, and most importantly, for the United States; given that it represents the world’s greatest consumer market, most stable economy, riches resources, and a $3.5 trillion dollar tax base. In effect, the United States Constitution must be surrendered to a worldwide economic and political governing body, to allow them to dictate US economic, financial, immigration, tax, regulatory, and law enforcement policies. To be blunt, America, as an independent nation, must be surrendered to a global governing authority.

This impending election reflects the culmination of two opposing forces coming together on the political battlefield. One side, the big business, financial, corporate media, and political establishment, is represented by Hillary Clinton. This side can be characterized as the global-elitists, who are driven by their zeal for money, and thus political power to position themselves to gain it. They believe in government controlled- and centrally managed- countries, that is, socialism, or fascism, which is antithetical to the American constitutional form of government and freedom, rooted and based upon the principles of Christianity – whose doctrines are the great liberators of people in this world. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2 Cor 3:17) As Charles Spurgeon said, “where there is Protestantism there is liberty.” The other side of this battle is best characterized as “We the People;” the vast citizens of the United States. Their interests are principally the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which is guaranteed by the Bill of Rights embedded in the US Constitution. These rights and freedoms have provided the basis for every American, regardless of station, to pursue their dreams, for themselves and their families; to generate income and wealth; to have the highest standard of living the world has ever known; and to live generally free from earthly fear of foreign invaders, by virtue of economic and military strength; all made possible by the freedom secured and preserved by the US Constitution. This side is represented by Mr. Trump. He is best characterized as a nationalist; an American patriot; who has pledged to maintain America’s borders and to maintain the supremacy of the US Constitution; thereby preserving America as a sovereign nation; that is, an independent nation; a nation that controls its own affairs, in this world.

Although it might be interesting to examine how America arrived at such a point in its brief history, given that the election is only weeks away, a full discussion of this topic will really only matter to historians, and is of little value today, given that the battle for America’s heart and strategic direction is raging now.

America is at the crossroad; as it was in the Civil War era. The nation will go one way or the other. Either we as a people will once again secure the blessings of liberty; or we will surrender our nation; our rights and freedom under the US Constitution; our standard of living and the American dream; and in short, our way of life, to a global governing body, whose interests is only in power and wealth. Make no mistake, surrender now, will be irrevocable.

American citizens should not be deceived; there is one hope, by the grace of God, to save America; and that is to elect Donald Trump the next president of the United States. Recently, Franklin Graham posted a message concerning the election on his Facebook page. He wrote:

This election isn’t about Donald Trump’s behavior from 11 years ago or Hillary Clinton’s recent missing emails, lies, and false statements. This election is about the Supreme Court and the justices that the next president will nominate. Evangelicals are going to have to decide which candidate they trust to nominate men and women to the court who will defend the constitution and support religious freedoms. My prayer is that Christians will not be deceived by the liberal media about what is at stake for future generations. (F. Graham 2016)

In view of the desperate nature of our nation’s situation, and the mammoth stakes now and for the future, I would urge you to set aside your criticism of Mr. Trump, as he is the sole instrument of preserving this nation at this unprecedented moment in American history.
